She only had the first half of PRISM when she gave that ASCAP talk. Then she went on to half-ass the second half in Sweden in like 3 months.

It's so hard to record album when you're so busy with global tour, performances, events, etc. Yes, you can write songs on your notebook, but situation is more hard if you aren't producer, who can grab his laptop and create music around the world.

Mariah recorded Rainbow for three monthes only because she wanted to leave her label, Columbia Records.
Album wasn't perfect and you can hear that record was sewn so quickly.
