Lunaala will be Dark/Fairy - In relation to the night & her pixie-like design. It also ties in nicely with Clefairy being from the moon story.

Solgaleo will be Fire/Psychic - Fire obviously in relation to the Sun & Psychic being that many cultures have used the Sun for time/prophecies.

There's no way it'll be steel - makes very little sense to have the Sun associated with steel.

I think these typings balance each other out well.
