Litten is the worst. The concept is great (fire tiger), but the execution is garbage... Looks like a mediocre fakemon. I still think it's final evo might look cool, hopefully Rowlett is cute and innovative (barely looking like a grass starter). I'm perched for it's line. Popplio is serving an Oshawott tea - cute, but will probably stay useless and forgotten.
Agree with Blue. The starters are definitely simple designs. Simple but effective. Just because they have concept behind them or a different color scheme doesn't make them complex. Design-wise; there's nothing complex about them really.
