If there's nothing but Hillary-type progressives running, then I wouldn't expect them to show up and vote. If Hillary becomes president and Bernie stays out of the spotlight during 2018, Republicans will win because she's boring and no one will be motivated to vote (in b4 "but she's winning the primary!!11!").
