Loved Alicia prior to Girl on Fire. Haven't heard the new single yet, though.
It's okay. It's certainly a progression from her previous work. But it has no real hook/chorus and would need a rap feature to be an urban A/C hit (which I could easily see happening). It's sort of in the vein of No Sleeep, but not as good or melodic.

This is why it is of no use to date anymore. It won't last. Nothing lasts, even life itself. Live your life and stop living in the clouds. Come back to reality. Men and women can be ******, cheat on you, and waste your time. Remain single, live a fulfilling life and improve your self worth.
Leave these good for nothing people who come into your life because of the so-called "boyfriend" , "girlfriend" title. They hang on to the title for as long as they can so they can benefit from sleeping with you. When you were born, were you anyone's girlfriend? Did you die? How about when you were 5yrs old. Were you in a relationship then?
Songs like this exist because people refuse to learn that relationships are something society has pushed down our throats. You can be completely happy without any of it and still live. Screw the "i'm single, i don't have a life" bs. It does not matter whether single / married; if this whole illusion we call life ends eventually.
The chances of your spouse, bf / gf dying every time he / she walks out the door are so high that, it makes no sense to rely on a relationship alone to be happy. This is my opinion, you don't have to like it.
