SUMMARY.
They [Katy and first producer] didn't meet for one year. Katy talked about vacation in India after worldwide tour and Super Bowl. There is no information about album, but he spoke about working titles: Katy always used different titles on first stages of preparing studio albums. He didn't know her 2008, but spilled tea about her next releases.
"Teenage Dream" was known by production team as "Impulsive" and another name, which was the title of song from album's tracklist. I think, it was Hummingbird Heartbeat, because it was inspired with her ex-husband. Anyway.
"Prism" was known as "Adult Reality" and Katy talked about it on some interviews. She changed title almost few weeks before Roar release.
Second dude (it's not Bloodsy, he didn't answered) worked with Katy on song "Be Closer", which was re-named as "Love Me" in final tracklist.

I must to check info about TCC. According to some people from her label, "Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection" was def Capitol decision and Katy wasn't impressed that label pushed only one new song (other two was leaked demos). Other side said that TCC was planned after Firework did rocket to #1 on Hot 100 and she broke some old record.
More info soon.

"Impulsive" is a good song title honestly but "Teenage Dream" is better and captures the feeling of that song and era magically.
So glad she changed it from 'Adult Reality' because that would be so, so corny and basically admit that it was her attempt of making a slightly more mature rehash of TD.

I remember that title being thrown around as a joke at one point. 'Spandex on the Distant Horizon' teas.
"Be Closer" is also a much better title than "Love Me".
TCC was fine, maybe it could have had another 2 new songs but it really didn't matter imo. I do remember rumours of a reissue when Part of Me's demo leaked around Firework's single release back in 2010 so I think they always planned to give it a reissue once those three smashed, but they had to keep postponing it because she just kept getting smash after smash from the original album.

TOTGA not going #1 was the only thing that allowed them to go through with it, I think.
Thanks for the info!
