Hmm, well Taylor's audience includes more loyal album buyers, more Grammy voters, and more critics. Taylor always wins.
For the most part, Taylor fans are also more educated vs Katy's fanbase are still in middle school or college drop out gays that only go to twink bars.
I guess you could say that a good portion of Taylor's songs can be boring but She also has some very interesting songs in Her discography. She could be doing so much better things than pop (and already has).
