He's basically allowing Trump a 2-month headstart by staying in the race until the convention. IF Trump wins in November, Bernie will be blamed for it by generations to come.

Hillary supporters need to stop with this ridiculous notion that a candidate can only compete against one opponent at a time. Hillary released anti-Trump ads even leading up to New York. And btw, John McCain swept his opposition while Clinton fought Obama all the way until the convention in 08, which didn't prevent Obama from getting elected TWICE. Did Hillary give McCain a 4 month headstart in 08?

Bernie is going to the convention just like he always said he would, he will use the same critiques of Clinton he always has, Clinton will repond in the same way she always has,
while launching attacks against Trump like she has been doing before New York. It's really not that complicated.
If there's anything about the Hillary-Bernie situation to be concerned about at this point, it's the fact that she seems completely and entirely uninterested/unable to reach out to the Bernie voters for support. All she's done so far on that front is have her spokespeople try to publicly pressure him to "deliver" them to her (as if voting worked that way), and when asked point out that she's WINNING[/Trump]! This is not like when Clinton lost against Obama and the majority of her supporters were older, long-time democrats. A good portion of Sanders supporters are first time voters, former Independents (like myself), and other people who otherwise don't feel that they HAVE to support the democratic nominee.

Why would they chose Bernie though? Super delegates are members of the Democrat party. The entire time during Bernie's campaign, he's spoken only negatively about the entire democrat party. You can't campaign about how bad the party your running in is, and then expect those supporters to turn around and support you...

Not even saying that this isn't some politicians's thought process, but this reflects absolutely everything that's wrong with the two party system, and exactly the system that is driving so many people to seek a "revolution" or a non-establishment candidate on both sides. You would think what would matter is where the candidates stand on the core issues: ie, Bernie being liberal on damn near EVERY issue, whereas Clinton is left-leaning on most yet moderate or right wing on several. But no, the resounding tone coming from Washington is that "party loyalty/paying one's dues" is more important. I'm sure if we were in a non-election year, even Hillary supporters would agree that this ideology carries undertones of corruption, even taking into account the fact that it's usually a necessary evil in most political races under our current system.
And no, he has not "only spoken negatively about the entire democrat party", wtf

He's targeted the DNC leadership, in addition to corporatist politicians (repubs AND dems) who accept massive bribes from special interest groups. In other words, he's a PROGRESSIVE, who supports PROGRESSIVES, as opposed to being a democrat who supports democrats.
