The research

Firstly, that's not even what the OP was asking.
Secondly, 13 weeks into the era, ARTPOP was already done. There's no need to compare this.
By Feb 2014, DWUW, the latest single was already out for 4 straight months and Applause by about 6 months.
Meanwhile, half of the songs you listed from ANTI (Needed Me, Kiss It Better, TIWYCF) were released a couple of weeks ago. Even Work is only 3 months old. More so, TIWYCF isn't even part of the album, it's Calvin's song and Rihanna is only featured on it. As long as the song can't even be found on her own album, it's not fair to count it as part of the ANTI era.
Album wise, I can only agree. ANTI is still selling pretty good for an album released a couple of months ago, something ARTPOP failed to achieve.
But ARTPOP's faith is totally incomparable. We're talking here about an era cut short after 1-2 months after being released. ANTI is still going strong mostly because Work, the hit lead single was released at the same time with the record (not 3 months ahead like Applause was) + she just released two brand new music videos + is actively touring the country.
By Feb 2014, the ARTPOP era was already 6 months in, not 3 months in like the ANTI era.
