That's what I was going to say. "Hard" is my fave song on the album and the Video has been charting high on all the Music Channels. I think it would do well.
I thought it would do well also, but BBC Radio 1 added 'Rude Boy' to their C-list on wednesday so it looks like it is going to be the second single
Me too. I can't believe no one sees this album as commercial, when there is hit material to give away.
FIREBOMB to POP (next) G4L to RHY/URB
Photographs to (ALL)
ROCKSTAR 101
then TE AMO
...and then we wrap this era up with COLD CASE LOVE/THE LAST SONG

I don't think "Te Amo" and "Cold Case Love" would fare too well in the U.S. I think "Cold Case Love" could do well overseas. "Te Amo" as well, but seeing how "Russian Roulette" did, I would not bet on those two being hits here in the states either.
When I first heard "Fire Bomb," I was shocked how they chose "Russian Roulette" over it for the lead off singler. "Fire Bomb" is easily my top pick from the album. It would make a fantastic single choice. I could see "Stupid In Love" and "Photographs" doing well, too. "G4L" could be released solely to urban and rhythmic radio and do okay. I don't think it's very "poppy." "Rockstar 101" reminds me a lot of "Umbrella" with the heavy guitar riffs and r&b sound. I think it could do very well if released. The others I would just consider album bonuses. Good songs, just not single material.
'Cold Case Love' would have slayed as a first single, everyone could connect it to you know what , which is bad, but would get the song a lot of publicity and I think it would have hit #1 with a dramatic and intense video, similar to 'Russian Roulette'.
And 'Hard' would be another #1 if it was released after 'Cold Case Love'.

Any song she would've released from this album as the first single could relate to that. "Russian Roulette" even did.
Then Photographs should have been released first seeing at its the poppiest and has that EURO-influenced/BEP style that owned the whole year. Honestly I would have NEVER chose RR as a first single, it's a great song but it's not rememerable at first and not the sing-a-long type of song that you NEED for a first single.
