I love the way it looked! It changed her features a bit, made her look more severe which really contrasted the lusciousness of the dress in a nice way. A dewy makeup with that peachy brown dress would have been too flat.
anyway...we know Drake has come out during her 2nd week...who is coming out during her 3rd?? b/c i want to know if she can go back #1 with the physicals also coming out during her 3rd week.
Its very hard for me to admit this, but after I gave Lemonade 20+ spins, I think Bey is slowly converting me...
I couldnt stand her for the first 4 albums tbh, she came of too safe, too polished, shallow, manufactured and her perfect image always seemed fake to me, plus the songwriting credits... but lately as her music is becoming more daring and interesting and as she becomes more opinionated and personal, Im starting to like her. So after all these years, she realy got me with this project. I hope she keeps this up.
Well, yeah, I Am is a boring dude, except for like 2-3 songs, but the whole other side of the album is far from safe, which doesn't make the entire album safe. I still don't get the criticism. DIL isn't even safe either.
I don't consider i am side as safe. It was something that she never done before and opposite of what people expect/want from beyonce. Uptempo sexy popstar.
So it was big surprise that she did if i were a boy as first single. Acoustic ballad.
No wonder she add sasha fierce side to makeup.
And releasing 11 track in 2cd was very bold and boss move.
