The only impact it'll have is a possible 2000 Nader scenario, leading to a GOP White House.
I don't think it'll happen. Sanders will rally around Clinton, and if Hillary's smart she'll appoint a vocal progressive (Franken, Warren etc.) to make a solid case.
This has happened before. 08 was worse.
