Had a couple meltdowns today.

I'm pretty sure I decided that I'm not going to prom anymore tomorrow. I looked ugly as hell in my suit (that I wasn't allowed to pick), my friends all ditched me (won't go out to dinner with me nor hang out with me at the actual dance), and my mom made fun of me for not having a date even though I was dumped and she thinks it's funny to joke about that since I'm not out. I can't help the fact that my dad is homophobic. I also had to sign a guest pass for some guy that this random girl is friends with and it just makes me continuously think about being alone for prom when I had this fantasy of being with a guy and happily spending the night together. Add in the fact that everyone in school makes fun of me for actually dancing, I'm just really tired of this **** and want the **** out of here. I've been legit crying off and on for 5 hours.

we don't have prom here but we do have a "graduation party" not sure if it's the same thing, and I didn't go either.

prom really doesn't matter that much, dude. it's not like it's the only romantic experience you'll have in your life.

also considering it's high school you probably would end up breaking up with the guy you would have danced with within 2 months
