Hi, this is my first time seeing this thread!
How long have you been writing songs?
- I've been writing songs since I was 13 when I got my first keyboard
What was the first song you wrote? When did you write it?
- My first fully fleshed out song was called 'My Reflection' when I was 15. It was that stereotypical teenage angst song lol
What instruments do you play?
- Piano/keyboard (since I was 10, got my first keyboard when I was 13).
- Guitar (since I was 16, I wanted to write songs like how Lana and Ed Sheeran do
)
- I'm also a singer and I've been going to lessons since I was 7
What genre of music do you write?
- I write acoustic pop songs. I like writing strongs hooks and cool piano instrumentals. I also love working on RnB stuff since my voice is more suited to that (when i'm in my music group, whenever an rnb writer is looking for a vocalist, I'm the first one asked since I'm the only one in the group with those type of vocals.
What’s your favorite song from your discography?
- I have a song called Rear View Mirror that I perform whenever I do gigs and stuff. It's an upbeat pop song with vocals and guitar as the main instrument. My friend wrote the guitar part. I wrote it when i was 17. The song is about nostalgia and looking at the past, even if it hurts to do it sometimes, it feels safe. Safe because you've been there and know exactly how things plan out where as looking to the future can be extremely hard sometimes.
Writing lyrics is so difficult for me so I'm trying to get better at it because right now I only have 5 songs like fully finished and composed and like 1000 songs that are either missing a chorus or only have one verse/melody. I also usually hate everything I write and never come back to it lol
I've also been debating whether or not I want to continue my streak of participating in every season or not. I would like to play, but I just know that ultimately kicks someone else out that would also like to play. 
Do you have anything recorded? I'm really intrigued based on what you said. I have a song called Rear View Mirror too so that's cool
