B'Day is fun and only hints at infidelity, it's not deep or thought provoking

4 is a great step in the right direction but the production on some of the songs is nothing special, it even treads in familiar territory with BTINH, and has basic clichés like "i was here" and "i'd rather die than live without you". She still had a lot of room to grow at this point in cohesiveness (looking at you run the world), lyrics (looking at you I Care), and production (there are some highlights countdown/end of time but lows like party/I was here)

ST was a great album but it has songs that weigh it down (XO pop/filler & PH bad pop song good message, while appreciated it has too many song dedicated to intercourse and thus the overall message isn't as varied and powerful as Lemonade + Rocket could've been cut)

Lemonade expands on themes introduced in Mine/Jealous/Superpower much better and tackles other issues such as feminism and black lives matter and is cohesive story unlike ST. And unlike the other albums which still have obvious commercial appeal, Lemonade's songs seem to focus on quality first while allowing the commercial aspect to form organically

To say that all 16 critics thus far - and the dozens more that don't count for Metacritic - are ALL biased because of the "hype" is a totally ludicrous statement. Maybe, just maybe, the critics think the album is what it is: great.

Sweetie the production in most of the album, especially in the slow tracks is not on par with her voice, some tracks the sound quality sound cheap as ****, BUT IS EXPERIMENTAL!!!!

The only experimental thing is that she made a cheap country track.

The album is still very good, 6 inch, Freedom Sorry and Formation are great tracks. The visuals are amazing too! But 94 in metacritic is a ****ery IMO.

You don't have to like the songs, but realize that your dislike doesn't make them bad. There's a reason the critics are praising this album, if the production wasn't on par the score would be lower. I love the production on a lot of the songs you claim are bad such as Love Drought and All Night

The songs are not necessarily bad, the production and the sound quality are cheap. I bet if she went on a traditional route without the videos more people would realize this.

I'm not the only one claiming this, a lot of people love All Night, but it sounds like a recorded live demo on a bar tbh.

I do I do, still half of the album sounds cheap. 6 inch smashes everywhere I play it, All night sounds like a demo everywhere I play it.

This! It's low key embarrassing when people say Lemonade has poor production. You can hear they spent A LOT on the production. Almost every album by a mainstream artist sounds extremely cheap if you compare it to Lemonade.
