As a standalone project, it's good but not great. But coupled with the movie visuals, yeah its quite extraordinary. & there's no way you can listen to the album w/o watching the visuals that accompany it.
The music hardly has anything to do with being black or a black woman
The main themes are cheating,forgiveness,hurt and difficulties in relationships.
Those things are universal. If the album was like Formation then fine but this whole "white people don't get it" argument is idiotic.
