Literally everybody dragged Dorne tho, last night i was on tumblr looking for gifs and one of the most popular post was "Dorne, I expecting nothing and I was still disappointed".

Other than the list of things better than a naked woman, the dothraki dialog was gross and unnecessary and what was the point of arya's 3 second beat down.

Um... no. Here's why: The Sons of Harpy started to attack last season (or earlier? The timeline in books and the show differs and it keeps on confusing me) when he had no way to get there to control them. He could send them orders but it would be like 3 months until the order reach them and then 3 another months until he finds out if they were successful and another 3 months to get new orders to them. He's quite far away from Meereen and although we don't know at the moment where he is, I assume either in King's Landing or on way to the North.

But really, it wouldn't surprise me that much if they put it like that in the show because after killing Hizdahr (who lives in the books), they lost the only Meereenese character who could be the Harpy. In the books there are at least 3 other important characters from Meereen who could be it but in the show? Unless a completely new characters comes, the only characters we have in Meereen are Grey Worm, Missandei, Tyrion and Varys, possibly Daario. Like, really? I really can't see which way it can go now with the Harpy.

It really seems that they decided that Dorne sucks so they decided to eliminate it. Honestly, its entire plot in Season 5 was so unnecessary, like, it seems that its only purpose was to bring more female characters who can keep on getting naked, even if they are desperate and tragic Xena wannabes. Considering the limited time for the show and the huge amount of characters and storylines, I really think that they shouldn't have included Dorne at all, with the exception of Oberyn, or use an actual storyline for it, closer to the books with the scheming Doran trying to undermine the Lannisters, his attempts to build alliance with Daenerys and Arianne who tried to use Myrcella not for a revenge

With Doran and Trystane, the only potential players that Dorne had, dead I suppose that the Sand Snakes will try to assassinate Cersei or/and Tommen and will die during the attempt.

Based on gains, the biggest buzz/hype came from S3, then S1, then S4, then S2. While S5 scared some people away.

They are not going to get rid of it because she is a Stark. I believe the premise that GRRM was trying to set was that the Stark siblings would all find each other again.

I do agree that they need to speed things up with her story, though.
