This article is exactly how I feel about Rih and her videos. The outrage over her showing her nipples is so transparent. So what if restricted videos lower her views, she's not dressed like that in a ploy to get anyones attention. Thats just how Rih is, she's true to herself and happens to hate wearing bras.

I also think that some of the popular narratives right now (Carefree black girls, black girl magic) are awesome and describe Rih really well. I wish that people were thinking that way a few years ago. Just in general, I think she would've gotten less heat for her various choices. The media really dogged her when she was in a vulnerable place, MULTIPLE times, and I like to think that wouldn't happen to her or another star in 2016...

Kanye release is actually messier than both imagine hearing your fave album in full one day. Its put up for streams a day later but not being able to purchase it on iTunes. Then having the album edited even after you purchased on Tidal



- Bey will be fine regardless of the figures but I hope everyone who unnecessarily dragged Rihanna enjoys that egg on their face. Both women put out stellar albums, charts/ sales don't take away from that

I think the Hive and Navy are dealing with two very different frustrations. We had a crazy year of waiting for music, but everything that went wrong with the immediate launch of the album wasn't Rih's fault. ANTI ended up persevering despite its various struggles, and I am thankful that she put it on iTunes. Meanwhile the Hive has had a pretty great rollout, but the album may end up in TIDAL streaming limbo, killing its chart potential and wide scale availability. That has to be very frustrating to watch, especially as your fave gets so much attention and press coverage. At the end of the day, they will "forgive" Beyonce and get tf over it because they got great music, just like us. I can 100% say that all of my annoyance with the ANTI rollout disappeared by my second listen stans are going to stan, they're lowkey overreacting but who am I to tell them to stop.

I agree about the egg on (some) faces though. People act like the pop girls are all sooooo different but at the end of the day, there are only so many scenarios that can happen with an album. Stay humble, y'all.

Lemonade is only really loved by the Beyhive. Self Titled was much better. I love a handful of songs from the album but havent really connected to the rest (yet)

Anyway, for Rih's sake she really needs to deliver a epic performance like BBHMM iheart performance at the Billboard Music Awards cause.. the era is kinda feeling uneventful now that Work is dropping.. and with Bey and Drake back on the scene

THIS. .I am trying so hard to be humble but it's amazing how estimated 500K to 700K dropped to 200K.. Just saying
