Oh, Dangerously In Love & I Am Sasha Fierce are the only albums where Columbia was involved then

This just tells how much she would sell as a Pop artist without her "real" input, she would sell alot if she was a label puppet. But her growth as an artist>>>>>>>>>>>

I think they were probably paying for her studio time and stuff though, at least had tabs on her movements

I would assume Columbia would reimburse her for some of her studio time/producer fees/production costs later, or they just give her 50% of all profits as speculated before

I still can't believe that we're going to receive new material in 2 days. So overwhelming. Plus, to be REALLY honest, the Beyhydration this year wasn't as bad as 2013, as in 2013 Bey herself was teasing us. This time around, she didn't even tease us with anything, just Formation, and I blame somebody else for the harsh couple of days of Beyhydration.

I'm expecting the album. It would be bizarre to have that level of exposure and then not release the album.

I think worst case scenario (in the light of whatever release) for her would be to pull a Rebel Heart (with releasing a handfu songsl) and release only the music featured in the movie as instant grats + pre-order and have the full album out between the quick break between the US and International leg

It's a Greatest Hits album with reworked versions of her previous hits (see the Melo Drunk In Love Remix). The question is if she'll have a double disc with new music as well. Something like HIStory.
