The quality of the animation has dropped, in my opinion. I honestly don't mind fillers; I can tolerate them, if they make sense, but the got damn quality...

Some characters look straight up pitiful.

Mess, obviously the quality has dropped because the spent so much money on THE LAST movie and BORUTO movie

The movie went off the name alone "The Last Movie" which made people think it was the last movie. They(studio perriot) did so much promo for that damn movie that it ended up turning into a Hinata Love Story. It didn't live up to the hype and didn't made back the money they poured into it and add to the fact that the Boruto movie was already finished at this point.

So the animation suffered because of the movies. "The Last" had TONS of promo which includes merchandise( that didn't sell well), advertisements and high budget production. .

But it's true though. They marketed "The Last" as the final movie of naruto and made a mess of it.They did so much promo and even had a japanese magazine put "Who will Naruto end up with? Sakura or Hinata?" to bring in more viewers. It wasn't even about Team 7. Sasuke was barely in it for a few seconds. It was all about Hinata and to a lesser extent Naruto.

I'm not even making this up. I frequent Naruto forums who have a few japanese members that posted every promo thing for "The Last"

I didn't know that. "The Last" was pure trash. Even with the damn high budget, the movie was useless, and was nothing but a cheap tactic to force Naruto & Hinata together (which I hated; there was no gradual process to their relationship considering Hinata was getting curved for almost 5+ years) and the entire plot was stupid. A got damn moon falling, was that the best they got?

Now I will admit, the Boruto movie was amazing, even though I was pressed that Sakura didn't fight alongside Naruto & Sasuke in the final fight, which I felt would've been pretty damn good but that's neither here nor there.
