I won't be upset if it's a documentary. I'm sure her ultimate goal with this project is to raise awareness. Although a docu-style special is not the same thing as a documentary so.
Besides, we're still getting a tour and most likely a brand new album in a matter of days from now!

again, some people have serious issues with taking small pieces of information literally, without critical thinking
common sense will tell you that this is not a documentary and it is not similar to life is but a dream

all i'm hoping for is new music and an album is a part of this...if it's not i'm sure the film will still be amazing but I hope she knows that's what people are expecting

New details are spilling out about Beyoncé's Lemonade.

The mysterious one-hour event, airing on HBO Saturday (9 p.m. ET/6 PT), is not a live concert. Rather, it's a docu-style special similar to her 2014 HBO special, Life is But a Dream, according to an HBO executive who was not authorized to speak in detail about the project. The pop star has previewed Lemonade with two cryptic teasers released online, although it's unclear if the special will include any music videos or songs from her long-awaited new album.
