In these western caucuses instead of directly giving you convention delegates people actually caucus for state equivalent delegates. At some predetermined time all of the elected state delegates have to convene at a convention and nominate convention delegates (delegates which vote for the candidate at the DNC). The problem is Hillary's state delegates didn't show up (not all of them) so in turn she has less equivalents to conventional delegates which means she won't have as many delegates as she earned in Colorado (also happened in Nevada). It's a mess
