They're western influenced in that anime style developed from Japanese studios wanting to emulate Disney cartoons and the styles just organically evolved into what we see today. Hence the cutesy big eyes. Westerners are always drawn more sternly than Japanese characters though, with smaller eyes (cause white people don't look as youthful to them and round eyes are associated with youth), square jaws and noses. So if you know that i'm not sure what you're arguing.
I mean, Bulma from Dragonball Z has blue hair... what race has blue hair? The stylistic choices they make are really not the issue. Y'all are deflecting.
