Do you live under a rock or something? The only people who talk about her sales are ATRLers. Taylor has always been a huge celebrity. She's been in the media a lot for her relationships with Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal, Harry Styles, etc. (among other things). Yes, she became an even bigger media presence with 1989, but she's always been popular and talked-about. Don't feign ignorance.
