Watched The Forest yesterday and it was kind of good.

The Invitation didn't actually have a twist persay. You knew stuff was gonna happen you just didn't know WHEN. And the cult thing was so obvious, so was the wine. The brilliant part was when Choi showed up and you actually wonder if Will's going crazy afterall. But the part that had me to the floor was the final shot with all those lanterns. That was SO SUPER ****ING CREEPY AND INCREDIBLE I HAD GOOSEBUMPS.

I don't think the obvious wine/cult parts were necessarily a bad thing. I was on my toes during the entire reveal even though I knew what was going to happen.

The director did a great job of punching you in the gut when Gina started frothing at the mouth. You just knew some **** was about to go down.

Props to the writers for keeping Tommy alive as well. The scene where he ends up stabbing David kind of felt like they were breaking the rules which was refreshing.

The final scene with the lanterns deserves all the praise in the world. Such a powerful moment. I know a sequel would probably ruin the universe they created but I would love to see what was going down in the those other houses.

Hush is amazing. Best home invasion horror since The Strangers.
Perfect amount of tension and jump scares and some really unconventional horror elements.
One question remains though: Is it really that difficulr to load a crossbow

I think yes actually, plus she wasn't the physically strongest but i heard before that it's really hard

Yes, you really should. There is a chronological thread through all 4 films and it wouldn't make much sense to watch them out of order. You definitely could, but they are less enjoyable.

Yep, love this one. It is actually my favorite from that director, followed by Oculus and then Hush. I love all of his films though. He is one of the writers of the upcoming reboot for I Know What You Did Last Summer, too! It actually made me excited for it.

This one sounds like it's going to be brilliant. I preferred the first one to Anarchy though. It looks like the consumes are going to be scarier too.
