Poker Face, along with Just Dance basically started the synthpop era from 2009-2011.
7 Years will be forgotten by next year

Poker Face, along with Just Dance and the rest of her discography, has long been forgotten.
Synth pop was charting back in 2006 with Cascada's "Everytime We Touch" and Nelly Furtado's "Maneater." Chris Brown and Rihanna continued that trend with "Forever," "With You," "Don't Stop The Music," and "Disturbia." So no, she didn't start anything.

The last adjustment was quite big though. Streaming was about 50% of the top 20 most weeks before and the change took it down ti about 40% (it might have increased since then). But decreasing streaming's ratio in the chart by 10% is pretty big imo.
Also, this year even though they changed the formula all the #1s have been exactly the same as they would've been before. I think in the next few weeks we will see the first time the new formula has actually changed the #1 (most likely it'll be Work dropping from #1 when it would've stayed if streaming was still 50% or Panda being #2 when with the old formula it would have got #1).
I'm not sure how much Panda's music video will help. Obviously it will a bit but last year with Watch Me it also got into the top 10 without a video and when the actual video got released it didn't seem to help it THAT much, just a bit. And I can't forget Hotline Bling which got to #2 without a music video, then got a massively viral music video and still peaked at #2.

Btw, such a legendaRIH week. The bitch ****ing tied THE BEATLES, she got an 8th week at #1, she got another top 40 (Famous #34), she got another top 50 (Needed Me #47), Kiss It Better #80 (meh but still another song that made it to the Hot 100) and ANTI is still going. So proud.
5H getting a new peak, strong debuts for Drake

And this is Rihanna's flop era! the rest of our faves wish they could flop this hard.

Well, Hotline Bling would have gone #1 had Apple Music reported its video streams.

that's, mmm, quite a rise for camila.
All I care about is Lord's Romantics tho.
If 7 Years goes #1, if Panda goes #1, if Work somehow stays #1, whatever. My enjoyment of the chart will depend on Goddess Swift.
