They hyped that entire army up to the high heavens and the results were extremely disappointing.

majority of the war (the part that matter) was team seven and gai (minus sakura for large part) versus madara/obito/juubi, the hokages versus madara and other endosensie. Naruto literally did more than 60% of the fighting of the entire war, at least in the part that matter. Toward the climax of the war and the climax it was Naruto and his sidekick vs the bad guys. when kakashi was schooling sasuke about his reasoning for his pardon was due naruto effort in the war like was just a little war hero and he didn't win the war i crackle everyone beside the kages, sasukes, kakashi, shikimaru (when he was getting the useless fodders together)and gai were just useless fodder that barely did anything useful.

Naruto had the stuff to be the greatest anime of all time but it couldn't keep up the quality of its first arcs. It already started to suck when the Chunnin Exams ended. Now it's just absolute filler ****. Anyone who still gives it the time of the day needs to re-evaluate their life decisions.

Also, one of the themes of Naruto was hardwork yet a god is giving people powers. Kagura is the worst villain of all time an didn't deserve to be the final villain.

I think the reason why naruto quality fail so drastically was because kishi was super done with naruto but the studio force him not to only continued the story but also extend for beyond what kishi had plan. That was the reason why the war arc exist and why it was so bad. Everything from the beginning of the series to the pain arc was planned, you could obviously see that. Anything beyond that he was making it as he goes and the reason a lot of it didn't make sense, plus adding the fact that he was no longer interested in the story was a perfect recipe for a disaster.

i agree sakura was done wrong. infact most of konoha 11 was done wrong especially, aside maybe shikimaru ( you could tell he was one of kishi favorite and that was the reason he survive what the other couldn't). Lee aside from maybe sakura was done wrong the most. He was such a good character and such a force in the chunnin exam ( he had best match) and was background character during shippuden era. Neji death was one the stupidest thing in the series.

I think kishi hated sakura more than i did ( which say a lot). i think sakura was based on a girl in kishi life that did him wrong and that was his revenge. It was hilarious how every little movement he took with sakura he took it right back a seconds later.Example the war act after sakura release her yin seal and made such a fuss for her to be save by sasuke and naruto a couple second later was one of the most hilarious thing in the war act, he did the similar thing throughout the series Sakura was suppose to be bad comic relief the way i see it

Actually, Kishimoto said Sakura was a lot like his wife and in an interview he said his wife was mad NS didn't happen. NS had a lot more development than NH and had all the things to make it happen if you read the manga properly. Anyways, I think it's because a lot of people love Hinata and hated Sakura that she was done wrong.

I started Naruto by watching the dub, then switched to sub and then the manga.

This. I always supported NS because it would've exemplified Naruto's character development, but then you have Hinata who was literally written into the story to be a love interest. The movie they did to explain the pairing helped, but I was still a little salty because he had all this time to improve Sakura's character and he still didn't.

YAS @ the Konan stanning tho, queeeeenT Her and Temari were my fave females. I agree with what everyone said about the Konoha 11 as well, Shikamaru was my fave but that's because he was handled well. Lee and Neji both had a **** load of potential that was never explored after the Chunin Exam arc and Neji's death is such a non-event in the grander scheme of things, I hated it.

Exactly, I always said that Naruto really enhanced Sakura's character and made her a better person. She was more willing to get stronger with Naruto. Sasuke just drags her character down because she acts like a fangirl even as an adult. I'm over it now though. The ship has sailed and the series is suffering badly anyways.

Yeah naruto enhanced sakura alot, but I feel like he also enhanced everybody including hinata. I've always personally preferred narusaku due to sakura being stronger and more independant. But hinata was alot nicer to naruto than sakura ever was, and once she saved him from pain temporarily it was kind of done.

Sakura's the stronger, more developed character but she never truly loved naruto as anything mroe than a friend.

I think she did like Naruto if we're going by the Bridge fight with Orochimaru in the part where Yamato was questioning her feelings but I felt she ultimately gave up when Hinata jumped in front of Naruto in the pain arc.

When she said "Hinata loves Naruto...." I think that was the moment she gave up on Naruto because I feel that she thought she didn't really deserve Naruto tbh and that Hinata deserved him more. She looked really sad in that moment.

Like I said, the problem largely remains in that Sakura was never treated on the same levels as Naruto and Sasuke. If he did, then at least Sakura could be a challenge in a way. And actually, if she had the guts she would have stabbed Sasuke with the poison dagger which would have been something
