we rescued the banks and Wall Street tho, how ironic right? the people who got us into this economic disaster were all forgiven and helped out. that's how the 1% in this country and sold out politicians+lobbyists roll. they're all in bed together practically. we'll pay for all the wars necessary and other useless bs like congress' over the top salaries and benefits (including the best Medical Insurance - all congress is exempt from ObamaCare even tho reTHUGlicans swore they were fighting against it). hell we can even fund billions for NASA, but we can't feed the poor. Or as Tupac said in "Keep Ya Head Up" : "We got money for wars but can't feed the poor". that was back in the 90s, and look where we're still at today, same mother****ing situation .

No, logistically it isn't possible. I would like to see the government making more efforts to end discrimination and help poor black neighbourhoods though.

OMG...then you of all people should know how the corrupt federal bureaucracy machine works...they want the black community to remain poor, and rely on government assistance to keep a specific voting block. They don't care about black people, never have. Basically pay for votes...it's insane that the black community doesn't see the wool being pulled over their heads.

People who think poverty is simply a state of mind must live a very sheltered life cause

How can the same person who says this also say that people are only poor because they CHOOSE to be?

uhhhhh, we do, but when we complain about it we're told that we're "pulling the race card", "just not working hard enough", "blaming everyone but ourselves for our situation"
hmm...

Let "no rice, no spice, no chocolate" ATRL think that everything is in the past and that there are no residual effects from slavery, because "Bey-Z, Riri and Oprah!" Corporate wealth was built on the back of slaves and most of those corporations still stand today, so yes. Racist ATRLers will continue blaming blacks though.

What I say is logical...let the black community keep throwing a pity party... nothing will get better for them, I can guarantee that.

because you know Oprah personally . please tell us what she and Gayle told you about how they made it . and it's funny as hell how someone who isn't even black acts like he/she knows what issues/problems they are facing. you can't even guarantee yourself another day of life, acting like you know black people's problems better than they do . anyways, stupidity is contagious and we've had enough of yours.

Right?
I mean how much evidence needs to be thrown to prove that systemic inequalities exist?
The 400 richest Americans have as much wealth as all African-American households

I think this is a good idea! Or maybe gives african americans some help for college funds? Like how American Indians get some funds for college, I think African Americans should get something similar. But overall I think African Americans deserve some type of compensation, whether it be direct money or some type of help like the quote above
