The very fact that anybody considers Bernie a "threat" at all is proof of the bias of the media in his favour.
Sanders doesn't stand a chance. He never has and he never will. No amount of calculations and trial and error permutations will change that. But the media needs to sell a story. And stories of competition are popular. It's partly why Maria Sharapova is made out to be a "rival" to Serena Williams. Because no one is interested in a story about one person completely dominating the other. They need a "race". It's why Hillary's accomplishments are constantly diminished. It's why every little win for Sanders, even when expected, is trumped up as this dramatic surprise. It's why they keep trying to push the narrative that African Americans are against her for whatever atrocities their revisionist history is trying to claim she committed against them when Bill was in power. But at the end of the day, it amounts to nothing.
Well, nothing but more money in the old man's pockets from foolish supporters who don't even know the first thing they're talking about. Nonsense.

I've never seen you post in this thread before, but I agree with EVERYTHING you just said... Such a smart, well-written post. What you said about the media is absolutely true. They have to sell the story and there needs to be a "tight race" even when things are over... Bravo to this post..
