I agree with you. My father is currently in prison for thirty years for a non violent drug offense as a first time offender. This is why I support Obama and Clinton on this issue. Obama has done a lot, trying to work with mandatory minimums. The republicans don't want this to be fixed though which is why it hasn't to this point.
None of this is specifically trying to help black people. I looked through the plans and it's for all people; she just throws "communities of color" and "African-Americans" in whenever it's been a while.
So as I expected, Hillary Clinton plans on doing nothing more for the black community than Bernie does. Her supporters in here say "there's a reason why she has the black vote over Bernie" and point to her plans but her plans aren't doing anything special.
Then why is she winning blacks by (at her lowest) 3-1 margins?

Marissa Johnson, one of the BLM protesters at Bernie's rally last year, where they stormed the stage and spoke to the crowd? She spoke about how she didn't appreciate Bernie and his campaign using the moment and publicizing it like he was happy to allow them the moment to speak. Talking about how his supporters sent her messages on social media and such calling her a c*nt and other ruthless names.

Showcasing that Bernie's supporters are just as guilty of what you're criticizing Hillary fans for. I mean, have they not spoken down to us black voters in the south for not voting for Bernie, but Hillary in overwhelmingly fashion? Insinuating we're low-formation voters and the race will change once things go to northern and western states, where the more educated are? As if we are low class citizens? Let's not!

Banks are a problem. Bernie has done a great job outlining this. But there are other economic issues as well. Economics is more complex than this, and almost every American issue can affect this.
