Thank you!! That's so weird coz it definitely feels like my Teenage Dream/ 1989 era as I'm writing it. Everything feels a big step up from the previous 4, hence ditching the one word titles. I'm really proud so far. I might make it 25 tracks Delirium teas. Lemme know what you think of the song titles.

I definitely like that juxtaposition and how you are trying to evolve and not rehash old ideas. My firs album is all about escape, pain, growing up and becoming your own person. The second album is about hope and self acceptance, so there's a definite growth there. The second album is also more direct and literal, as you said yours was while the first is really metaphorical and indirect in its meanings. This one is also being written a lot faster because my first was written spring 2013-summer 2015 and this one I just started writing last fall

I love how yours are so personal, authenticity is something that's important for me, and they're also quite relatable which I always feel mine really aren't in a way. A lot of the time I write about scenarios that don't exist, as a way to write about an emotion. That's why I called my first album Enigma, because only three songs actually dealt with reality (the last three). I was always writing about this enigma that did not exist. That year I was out of school and a little isolated and lonely so it probably stemmed from that. I would say Enigma as an album is about a lack of reality, focusing on dreams and emotion (and vulnerability as such). With the second album, Filter, I started that when I moved away and began university, so that in itself was a huge juxtaposition to my life before. On that, I write more about reality and the things I dealt with, particularly crushes but also some other growing up stuff. I called it Filter because, even here when I write about more real situations and whatnot, they still keep that dreamlike, distant feel because my writing is a little poetic and enigmatic (though I also try to branch into less, and at some times more, poetic areas on it), as if it's looking at my life through a filter.

MAKE ME FEEL IT:
(Verse 1)
You came to take me just in time
You held me through the fear of God
When I told you please don’t ever stop
You said I’m your ritual tonight
And I call out shy, in my dreams I ride
Through your smoke filled kiss, you’re haunting me
I’m your fantasy and our love’s a sin
But tonight we’re up for anything
(Chorus)
Touch me and make me feel it
Touch me and make me feel it
Touch me and make me feel it
And make me, feel it, feel it
(Verse 2)
I’ve felt defeat that you don’t know
A time of war inside our bones
From your mind, it burns and fills the room
A call of love, a touch of fate
And we know it’s near
Oh the rising sun
Say goodbye to love, but it’s just too tough
I know what happens when I’m all too much
(Chorus) X2
(Bridge)
With your touch I cannot fall
With your touch I cannot fall
With your touch I cannot fall
With your touch I cannot fall
A call of love
We cannot fall
(Chorus)
(Outro) X2
With your touch I cannot fall
With your touch I cannot fall
With your touch I cannot fall
With your touch I cannot fall

ok here are my 2 albums and track lists. My two albums have evolved over about four years now, and I'm constantly changing them and removing tracks and adding new ones to achieve two perfect records. Here is the albums as they currently stand:

This is the main album I work on, so it has my fourteen favourite songs.
1. SULPHUR
2. I'LL CRY IN YOUR MOUTH
3. TIERNAN
4. EVERYTHING HURTS IN THE AUTUMN
5. IF I DREAM A PICTURE OF YOU ON AND ON
6. BITTER AFTER DARK
7. PIPING FOR THE BLOOD TO DANCE TO
8. CHRISTIAN GIRLS LIKE ME
9. OVER
10. THIS ROOM'S RACISM AND ANYTHING SACRED
11. NO ONE WILL LAUGH
12. ALL LOVE WITH HYPOTHERMIA ENCLOSED
13. WE KILL FOR FUN
14. PRAY 4 ME
"Sulphur", "Over" and "Bitter After Dark" are my favourites right now.
THE UNEXPECTANCY OF THE DEATH OF CARMEN SCARLETT
This is my older songs, really. 2013-era Matthew
1. MOSCOW
2. I HAVEN'T LIVED WHITE
3. LA LUNA
4. THE FALL
5. READY FOR YOUR LOVE
6. LUNATIQUE
7. LET OUR VIOLENCE END
8. HIDE AND SIKH
9. COMMUNION
10. THE BLATHWAYT ARMS

Well I don't really try that hard to make my songs personal or relatable, I guess I just write about what's going on in my life. Sometimes my more metaphoric songs are even more personal, like Acid Reign and Savior. I think I try to disguise my feelings behind metaphors sometimes so I don't feel like I'm showing everything, but then it makes the meaning even cooler. And sometimes I write songs about how I want to feel. For example, my new song After Hours is a love song I wrote after my most recent breakup about how I wanted my next relationship to be and how I wanted to fall in love again, and as I'm starting to date this new guy I'm finding everything about the song describes how I'm feeling which is really cool. I guess I do have a pretty interesting life though. I've fallen in love multiple times, had some struggles, and have been through a lot that has shaped who I am and who I don't want to be, so that's made writing personal songs really easy.

If you're going to post your song, you're gonna get feedback. And if it's bad, well **** it's bad. And probably nobody will tell you, but I will, because I couldn't care less. Girl that song is bad. If you don't wanna hear it, don't share your lyrics. The whole point of posting a song is obviously to get feedback. And, well, you got it! My advice to you is the same exact thing you say in this post. Get over yourself already and take some advice. There is nothing deep about what you do. Good luck with that.

That's sort of how I'd describe my music,
except it doesn't have that much urban influences and it's a little more synth pop-y.
I was working on a project for a couple of months,
but things got ****ed up, so now I'm starting all over

No, everyone always gives fair and helpful feedback to everyone but once again the rude and obnoxious Pears is here. It all makes sense now
