His albums don't sell.

His biggest album went 2x platinum.

He relies on streams which is what many people that are overpromoted and underperformed rely on.

His music is here for the moment and forgettable.

Urban rado will support his music and much like a few artists they support it doesn't translate into major hits or sales.

And they have classics.

It's not "overselling" anything.

He's still very successful in his own right. He's still winning awards, he's still getting played on radio, he's still relatively relevant, etc.

Not all of that could be said about artists that came out around his time.

WELP she should stop talking about him if she doesn't want him to possibly respond or have something to say about it. And obviously that responde could be taken as shade from someone who was just smiling in your face. Especially when the interviewer themself was clearly being shady

He's not that young. He'll be 27 soon and has a kid. Usually, you have a different response to criticism around that age. This isn't 2009.
