Kendrick's 8 unfinished, unmastered demos got higher ratings from the critics than Kanye's new album.

Critics are literally SCARED to not kiss his ass. It's so sad at this point.

Nobody in this world is actually playing that dumbass demo album more, and enjoying it more than Kanye's album. Nobody was listening to it after two plays.

For now Kanye > Kendrick material wise, but K.Dot only has 2 full albums compared to Yeezy's seven (eight if you count WTT) so the matchup could be a bit premature.

Kanye doesn't know what to talk about anymore. That's his problem. Yeezus was a pass because I guess it went with the theme (and the music itself was also spectacular), but TLoP is a complete mess lyrically.

The message, the timing. I'm assuming you know I mean #BLM and just everything in regards to black oppression. Also, the instrumentation, lyricism and themes throughout the album are incredibly intricate and beautifully executed. There are a lot of recurring patterns, it's an ALBUM. The flow is unmatched in the rap community. The use of random jazz instruments works very well. There is a lot about the album that makes it great and worthy of any and all praise.
