I can't believe how many gays watch Drag Race. It's a part of gay culture that is just so not part of my life - I don't get it at all! I have nothing against it, like I'm not an anti-fem gay, but I'm just kinda surprised that SO many gays associate with and love drag queens? I kinda find a lot of them to be somewhat insensitive to women and the struggles they have gone through throughout history, and currently.

It feels a little like making a mockery of woman, like cultural appropriation (I know you USA lot refuse to ever acknowledge any wrong-doing, but it is offensive to take whatever you want from other cultures and use it in any way that you want / benefits you) offends cultures, I do worry that "drag" could offend women.

Though I can already see the vehement "ST0P IT SJW!!" response, which is usual ATRL fare. Racism and sexism is pretty much condoned around here.

Poor Madonna, she had a lot of impact but clearly didn't manage to even get her fans on the path of righteousness despite half her tours focusing on equality and what not. (not just for gays!)

I've only seen Drag Race Season 4 and I thought it was gold. I can't really get into the rest of it though for some reason and don't really associate myself with the show or drag queens in general.

I don't think drag queens are insensitive though. I think there's a deeper reasoning behind drag than just throwing on a wig and a frock and tucking your dick. Drag queens are some of the funniest and most fascinating people in the world, just like MDNA

True Blue's singles are awesome but the rest of the album is trash.

It is a fun reality show. I love it...not that that is hard to tell by any means. If you don't like reality television competitions or drag queens then yeah you won't like it. Not a big shocker there. I mainly love it for the throwback feel of it all and the constant humor and references by Ru.

If you really think drag is insulting to women then honestly you just don't know much about drag and the origins of it in the first place. Also it is one of those deals where femininity isn't exclusive to women.

The Madge runways were really underwhelming. I mean 3 from Nothing Really Matters and then one that was basically the same look but just looked closer to the tour backdrop for Paradise (Not for Me). And apparently 3 of the 4 queens eliminated before this episode also had kimonos and so did Chi Chi, who wisely chose to go with Blonde Ambition instead. Like Nothing Really Matters is cute, but damn.

It was all kind of worth it just to see Acid's Bedtime Stories look.
