I think Bernie saying she should adopt his entire platform is just his way of making the media lay off the "when are you dropping out" rhetoric tbh.
At the end of the day, I imagine both will ease up and Bernie would accept the platform of VP to continue getting his ideas out there and I do think Hillary would be more accepting of some of them as time goes on and the democratic party continues to get more liberal.
Like I get why Hillary isn't as liberal as Bernie. It's still a "dirty term" in politics (and was a career killer when Bill was in office), though it's changing quickly. But I do think she can afford to have a very liberal VP pick to balance her more moderate mindset.
I agree with this. I did always like he idea of a Sanders VP except I just don't know if it'll work. They are both democrats but they don't mesh well. Maybe they could make it work though

I don't disagree. I still would rather see him as SoT, but you raise good points. And I hope you're right about the first paragraph. It's entirely possible he said that to combat the hounding of when he'll drop out by the media. I hope that's the case and not because he would actually require it if and when she gets the nomination.

That's what happens when every contest is proportional allocation. Once you're behind as far as Bernie is now, you're really behind. Even Bernie's campaign manager said this before the primaries started and said they planned on winning IA, NH, and NV before the first Super Tuesday to dig a big hole for Hillary that would make it difficult for her to recover from... But the opposite kind of happened.

I don't really watch cable news. I get most of my news from articles. Typically the New York Times and the Washington Post. I also watch my local affiliates (partial to Action News here in Philadelphia). Local stations tend to just report without commentary, which I prefer.
