The original 12 tracks of Halcyon are magical, fantastic, beautiful unique and nothing like what you heard on the radios. Ellie, don't mess with me by the deleting original tracks in your re-releases.
Artpop represents the emptiness of someone who used multiple ideas everyday in her attempt to defeat Katy. 365 days later Gaga used 1001+ ideas and Katy was doing the maths on how fast Gaga's brain was draining of ideas or any useful thoughts. Gaga's brain was really emptied, thus she resorted to the trick high schoolers use to make an essay look more interesting when they have no opinion, no story,... to tell. Let's spice it up with random references, difficult words from the dictionaries,... to make it look more sophisticated.
The music was between a rock and a hard place. The instrumentals she found was not bad, but she ruined it with her words, senseless screaming,.... The instrumentals, sounds,... are too harsh for pop audiences, but way too soft for the European electronic music underground. Especially the Belgian taste, our influence on electronic music is like that of the Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and the punk rockers on guitar music, we gave electronics the dark, hard, unheimlich, harsh, rough,... side. We like it being hard, faster, louder
(that's exactly the motto of metal). That's why I was like meh when I listened to the Artpop leak, she doesn't get it what the Europeans want in electronics.
