1. “Coat of Many Colors”/“Jolene”/“Nine to Five” by Dolly Parton and Katy Perry
So, this was fun. After presenting Dolly Parton with the Tex Ritter Award for a movie adaptation of Parton’s classic autobiographical song, “Coat of Many Colors,” Katy Perry joined Dolly for a three-song Parton-fest medley, punctuated by Parton proclaiming, “Oh, Jolene, you shameless hussy!” Not overly rehearsed or fussy, the medley, which got glitzier as it moved from song to song to song, was just right for an awards show coming live from Las Vegas. Parton/Perry ’16!
Hey guys! I just wanted to answer a few questions for you guys about 2016.
Like, I feel like every year has a new energy, and I feel like this year is really about, like, the year of just realising Katy is a hagsbeen. And everyone around me we're all just like, realising that.
