SPEAKING of messy performances; rihmember when Rihanna performed RUDE BOY on Kids Choice Awards in 2010?
I never really paid attention to the lyrics when it was a hit so I didn't see anything shocking. But really... 'tonight I'mma let you be the captain', 'come here rude boy is you big enough', 'baby if I don't feel it I ain't faking no more'.
The messiest moment in Kids Television history. I can't believe it was actually approved.

I remember when I was in my last year of school and a bunch of guys got around a computer and started playing it when we were waiting for the teacher and freaking out over the lyrics
I didn't understand how they didn't already know...

I remember when Gaga was nominated for a kids choice award and I literally campaigned to all my friends and family to vote. I was even more dedicated then in 09

I didn't really realize the lyrics til like a year or 2 ago. I never paid attention.
No straight male will openly come out and say "I'm a straight male and I love Days of Our Lives" so freely, but there are a ton of straight men out there who like soap operas, and this is coming from someone who will call out a gay man in a QUICK second. So, no... it's not a "Sure, Jan."
Not to be too anecdotal, but I've encountered more straight men who have watched soap operas than gay men.
Gwen, Rebecca, Timmy (rip) and Tabitha were my favorites.
Gwen was a kiiii and a half. A bitch who tried so hard to be evil, but didn't know how. She turned into a running joke at some point. I just remember, Theresa (my fave) always winning in the fight with her for Ethan.

Theresa was so whiny and dramatic. I couldn't stand her. I was hoping she would die. I couldn't stand her best friend Whitney either.
