"More time" isn't going to change the relative cost of living. A flat wage is just a plain bad idea, period. Thankfully such a thing will never pass on a national level.

And this is why so many people from both parties are reluctant. What is going to be done with major jobs? Or we going to force them to pay their workers more than the minimum wage? What would be the point in a minimum wage if we're going to dictate how much a person should get paid?

Imagine northern states getting to vote first in elections. That would consistently sway a lot of progressive momentum for the Democratic Party and overall generate hype for the campaigner who's more progressive.

I'm not talking about a Hillary vs. Bernie scenario, but for future elections, having northerners go before southerners would truly make a great difference in how the election would go on the Democratic side. It would be a new thing to try out, nothing more.

Iowa and New Hampshire already have disproportionate influence on the race, I think the current schedule is fine honestly.

I agree that this sort of incremental increase is best, with the top line amount varying by jurisdiction.

Basically a Bernie would have momentum than Hillary at first. Should be diverse.

The two Tuesdays get very solid coverage and those honestly can change everything in the race. If those Tuesdays were consistently given solely to states along the lines of CA, WA, VT, DE, ME, MA, etc. I guess that would potentially shift the race more progressively and initiate candidates to run campaigns that are more forward to the left in order to appeal so such bases.

The southern states banded together and made "super tuesday" a thing in response to Iowa and NH always being before everyone else as the first caucus/primary. I feel like it kinda just balances it out.
