This could be completely false since its from someone on VP, but I saw a post that said something like Masuda refused to come to one in the past that had Mega Mewtwo or something because it wasn't 'big enough news'. so why would footage from a month and a half ago be bigger news than a new Pokemon

Here's something interesting. I compiled a list of EVERY type combo that has yet existed in the Pokémon world.
Lies, some of them do exist but for certain forms and Mega evo's.... though they have yet to exist for "main form" Pokémon.
