1. Monster - woo this masterpiece. The Fame Monster in general is such a gem
2. The Fame - love this socially-aware, electro tune
3. Electric Chapel - legendary electronic rock anthem
Dark Horse: The song and the video both have snatched awards. It's trappy and experimental, but the GP ate it up. I love this song because it really showcases Katy's talent and flexibility in music.
Firework: I personally love this song a lot. When I was 11 years old, I wanted to come out to my parents. I was very scared, but I played 'Fireworks' and Katy really helped me. I went to them immediately in the living room, and I told them I was gay and I'm an original and I cannot be replaced if they were to reject me as their child. Katy liberated me with this song.
Hot N Cold: This is one of Katy's best songs, and well, her first single. This soft rock pop song didn't have the cliche pop video, nor did it have the cliche rock video. Instead Katy successfully combined the two aspects together and made a breathtaking video, and that's what really makes me love the song. It's not one of these "play it safe" debut singles.
