Good question!
Cattle, pigs, and chickens are poorly suited for life in the wild. So in a world that’s increasingly vegetarian, we would see their numbers decline with every passing year. The reason there are SO many today is because we continue to raise and breed them for profit and consumption - as there is less demand for animal products, less animal abuse and environmental destruction from these farmers will occur as they will decrease supply - meaning a lesser number will continue to be bred. In the vegan future, a world without animal agriculture, these farmed animal populations will be able to continue in the wild at their own rates.
As fewer farmed animals are raised, much of the land that’s currently being used for pasture or to grow feed crops would revert to nature. So a world with fewer farmed animals would one with far more wildlife, as well as far more quality habitat for animals currently threatened by human activities.

I honestly wouldn't mind going vegetarian. I don't care for diary but I can't stop eggs because that would be my only mean of protein. What I don't like is pills and that's why I wouldn't go vegetarian, I'd rather take what my body needs through meat.
Plus not all countries are vegetarian-vegan friendly. My sister was vegan for 8 months and by the end of the 8th month she fainted and had to be rushed to the hospital.

That's great to hear about your interest in going vegetarian! I wonder, do you not eat any fruits, vegetables, nuts or beans? There's protein in all of those - enough for us to thrive on! I'm sorry to hear about your sister - whilst I've connected with tonnes of vegans who have never experienced this, I understand it's a reality for many who can be uneducated on a healthy, whole foods plant-based diet. Fortunately, as a plant-based future develops, more information is made available to people wishing to pursue veganism.
