Why aren't there many male artists that aim to teach lessons to and empower young men through their music (or just people in general)? Not to say there aren't any at all, but I just can't recall many male singers who do this. Not including Rappers.
Many female artist try to empower their audience and make them feel loved (For example Born This Way, Beautiful, Unpretty, You Gotta Be). I just feel like that's something that's missing with male pop stars and there's so much to address from a man's perspective. I want to stan for more of them, but most of their songs (singles at least) deal with relationships, love, and sex, which is fine. However, I don't feel many men in the industry dig deeper and try to make people feel a certain way or teach/give them advice through the music. I don't know, just a thought
I'm sure there are quite a few, but I just can't think of many songs by men that aim to send a positive message about life to their audience (off the top of my head, The World's Greatest by R Kelly).
Any examples you can think of? And thanks for reading
