With the younger girls, fine, but she'd been around for half a decade and 4 albums before going solo. How that doesn't factor in when comparing her with girls like Avril, Britney, Pink and Christina is beyond me considering they all "debuted" at the same time.
I can't say Beyonce has had a 18 year career, then compare stats for only 11 years of it.

Oy, was referring to sales at their peak and even included Adele and taylor as they were able to go past 5M since people use the excuse of declining sales.
No one is claiming beyonce didn't exist until 2003.
She did as a member of DC3 and sales after her solo debut didn't all go to her. solo numbers
DC3's last one didn't or any catalog sales.

I don't get how people are choosey. they compare many stats from artists that were solo in the 90s and claiming their numbers are not up to par with select artists.
yet somehow that is ok.
