I listened to a couple of their songs and liked what I was listening to. I added their album to My Music. Now I'm going around and searching for more new artists to discover. It's also such an exciting yet scary experience.

BOMT is very nostalgic, and people only cover it today if they need a gimmick on talent shows. Crazy in Love is just an objectively excellent song, nothing extra added. Same with Umbrella. Good music wins.

I mean it's still possible but not everyone can achieve this.

Imagine having airplay on 3 or 4 radio formats and not even achieving 15x platinum in album shipments throughout your solo career.

I really like their music, their new one is supposed to come out this Friday so be sure to check it out! I've wondered why they weren't given a bigger push with Evergreen, I heard some radio-friendly songs on it. They even have a T-Swift co-sign so idk...

I like discovering new music too. I've tried listening to a new song by an artist I haven't heard of at least once a day. There's just so much out there to discover.
