She should've promoted more, especially "Good For You" and "Hands To Myself" and she should've released better videos for every single.
This could've been her mini "1989"/"Teenage Dream" era.
The video (and Apple Music) ruined "Hands To Myself" its potential.

I don't stan her, but Hands to Myself did pretty great, especially for a 3rd single by someone who's arguably still working their way into the big league with the other main pop girls. A #7 peak, 700,000 (and growing healthily still) in sales, almost 100,000,000 video views, 160,000,000 streams on Spotify, possible #1 on pop radio + Top 10 on overall radio, etc. The stats would be even better if she actually promoted her material.
As for the "mini '1989'/'Teenage Dream'" thing, it still could be, for her standards (no shade honestly). Obviously 5 or even 3 (and I'd argue even 1) #1 is out of the question for this era (but not for future ones), but she's already had 3 top ten hits this era, so one or even two more isn't out of the question if she actually pushes them. Kill Em With Kindness, Me & The Rhythm, Sober, and I'd argue even Survivors are excellent singles just waiting for release. Radio can only push so far, and she just got lucky with Hands to Myself with the fact that the video streams pushed it into the top ten. That may or may not happen with the next single, and I don't think it's safe to rely on that. If she wants to see success, she needs to get out and promote like she did with Same Old Love, none of this Good For You/Hands to Myself lack of promo tactic.
