All of the up-and-coming pop girls have cited Britney as an influence of some sort, from Charli XCX to Charlie Poot.

WIth that being side, her career has been a mess this whole decade and the XF did more damage than good for her in the long run. If she was going to autopilot her way through critiques, Simon shouldn't have hired her instead of just thinking about the #ratings. I think even he himself stated he was expecting Britney to be a mess and was surprised when she ended up not contributing much to the panel.
