Jeez don't remind me. Like I said being a Clinton supporter in 2016 is hard because it's literally watching a train slowly come off the rails and you know it's happening but everyone pretends everything is fine . 2008 Hillary would wreck this new Hillary

Dude is outspending her like crazy, nobody has even attacked him yet, and he's still losing by a big margin.
Hillary isn't even trying that hard, and yet.
Sanders has benefitted greatly from those who simply just do not like Hillary. Not such contrast would be available to him in a GE.

Well, this is actually objective... Hillary has been really easy on Bernie...

Bernie knows this quite well too, which is why his campaigned has positioned him as a moral exemplar who MUST be elected to save the soul of Washington or else all is lost.

I was referring to your game of fear, practicing your fantasies about "all Trump can do" to prevent a President Sanders, as a talking point to fear a Democratic Nominee Sanders.
Bernie (or whoever the Democratic nominee may be) would have a long solid list of fear arguments to use against Trump, most which would be of higher concern to the American people than most what Trump could pull against Sanders, many which are yet to be used by his Republican opponents.
Let's not forget that your perception of how the GE would go under Sanders being the Democratic nominee is highly and unfairly affected by how passionate you are about Hillary being the nominee. I know you said something along the lines of staying at home if Bernie goes on to be the nominee, so I'm assuming that would probably affect the way you view him as a GE candidate.

Compare to 2008, when Hillary hit Obama with that 3am ad. Bernie hasn't even seen anything like THAT. I've said it before: he is the single most unvetted candidate ever to still be viable (though barely) at this point in the race.

Hillary has actually been real chill throughout the election so far. It's worked better for her because of it imho. Just wish Bill would stop making so many blunders.

2008 Hillary was coming for blood... I think that Hillary will resurface if she's in the GE against Trump. She would have no reason to hold back. Right now, Hillary is going easy on Bernie likely to make sure she doesn't turn off anymore of his supporters by going strongly against Bernie. She also might be worried he won't endorse her, which I'm actually worried about at this point given some of his recent remarks, so she can't risk converting his base by attacking him. Especially with her huge lead. She's not in as tight of a race in 2008. So, there's no reason for her to come for blood right now.

I've seen enough elections to know what works and what doesn't. Bernie is NOT a good enough politician to withstand the type of attacks that Republicans would hit him with in the fall. Period. Trump wouldn't need to convince the entire country, just Florida and Ohio. And the "communist" and "tax and spend" label would be sufficient. For all of his negatives, Trump is still standing. He has proven a degree of resilience. Bernie has not, and I'm not convinced he can. His entire campaign is premised upon being more moral than everyone else. When you run that sort of campaign, any small controversy is exacerbated, and I don't think he would be able to handle it, because to this point, has hasn't ever had to.
As for my "passionate support of Hillary," you must be confusing me with someone else. My dislike of Bernie makes Hillary my default choice. There's no way I'd stay home in a general because there are important Senate races (be it MD or PA) that I would need to vote for. I would also vote Bernie as much as it would disgust me to do so, but thankfully that scenario is highly unlikely.

someone on twitter said that the main reason (white) gays are supporting Clinton
is so they can say "yass queen" every time she's on TV

I think this is the year Sestak finally wins, after like 10 years of trying.

I think he meant just the white gays supporting her not all white gays. Though that's far from true

Let me just say I disagree with the way you're viewing Bernie as a candidate to even begin with, we can't go on much further from there.
I don't know why it would "disgust" you to vote for somebody like Bernie, someone who's been championing progressive and consistent causes for decades, someone who truly cares about the wellbeing and prosperity of others at least as much as Hillary does. I wasn't expecting a "disgusted" type of terminology to be used by a Hillary supporter. Maybe "uncomfortable", "unenthusiastic", "not too satisfied", "unhappy", but "disgusted" is certainly something I expect from a Republican who can't tell the difference between universal healthcare and communism.

His dog whistling dismissing Southern (ie. black) voters (while touting wins in liberal bastions such as Utah and Idaho) DISGUSTS me the same way this sort of rhetoric from Hillary disgusted me 8 years ago. Hillary learned her lesson. After black voters doom his campaign this year I can only hope Sanders learns as well.

One of my friends told me "Twinks for Trump" is a thing, I have not chosen to verify this.
