It seems that for the upcoming years Croatia will choose their participants through Dora. The composers and HRT director are still mad that Lighthouse was written by Austrians.
It's pointless. Sweden only introduced it bc in 2013 they were 3rd in jury vote and 18th in televote (and 14th overall). Knowing that the juries have been overrating them to the high heavens every year since 2012, they did this. If Italy had won last year, we wouldn't have this, but c'est la vie.

According to this video the top 10 fan favorites (assuming only the fans made videos of their ranking, which is very plausible) are France, Russia, Spain, Latvia, Croatia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Italy, Australia, Estonia in order.
This would be an interesting top 10 imo but I honestly can't see Spain in top 10, let alone top 3.
