And some posters seem baffled how Hillary is actually winning at the ballot box despite all of their friends and fellow redditors backing Bernie.
It is obvious to me that Sanders' support is bigger amongst the younger demographics. The exact subset of society who dominate social media posting and reddit. And yet half of those won't even bother voting.
The odds are so short now for Hillary to win the Democratic nomination. One bookies has her at 1.02 odds. The shortest possible odds that can be offered on a betting site for any bet are 1.01. So they are pretty much there now. I cannot think of any sporting analogy where the odds would be so short. Maybe if a favoured football team is 3 nil up at home, 8 minutes to go and the other team has two players sent off. The chances of a comeback are pretty much nil. Not statistically nil, but realistically Sanders can only win if there is some sort of massive scandal for Hillary. She would have to be exposed as having an affair with Putin, Al Baghdadi, the Ayatollah AND Kim Jon-Un to lose from this position.
